Set a compass to the line length
Draw an arc above the line from one endpoint
Draw an arc above the line from the other endpoint
Connect the arc intersections to form the top vertex
Repeat the arc steps below the line
Connect the lower arc intersections to form the bottom vertex
Join all six vertices with straight lines
Erase construction lines if needed
