Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off
Wait a few seconds
Press the Power button to turn the Chromebook back on
If it won’t restart normally, press and hold Refresh (circle arrow) and tap Power
Release both buttons when the device restarts
If it still won’t restart, hold the Power button for about 10–15 seconds
Release Power when the screen goes off, then press Power again to turn it back on
