Draw or find a hopscotch grid with numbered squares
Place a marker on the first square
Stand behind the starting line
Toss the marker into the first square
Hop on one foot through single squares
Land with both feet on side-by-side squares
Skip any square with the marker in it
Turn around at the end of the grid
Hop back through the course
Bend down to pick up the marker on the return trip
Complete the round without stepping on lines
Pass the turn to the next player
Repeat with the marker on the next square
