Use plain, unsweetened yogurt or plain pumpkin puree as the base
Avoid xylitol, chocolate, grapes, raisins, and artificial sweeteners
Mix the base with a small amount of peanut butter that does not contain xylitol
Add mashed banana or applesauce if desired
Stir in a little water or low-sodium broth for a softer texture
Pour the mixture into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or small containers
Insert a dog treat or chew stick if desired
Freeze until solid
Let it sit a few minutes before serving
Serve in small portions based on your dog’s size
Store leftovers in the freezer in an airtight container
