Peel 6 to 10 garlic cloves
Lightly crush the cloves
Add 1 cup olive oil to a small saucepan
Add the garlic cloves to the oil
Heat on the lowest possible setting
Warm for 10 to 15 minutes
Do not let the oil simmer or boil
Remove from heat
Let cool completely
Strain out the garlic cloves if desired
Pour the oil into a clean, dry jar or bottle
Store in the refrigerator
Use within 1 week
