Hold the jar firmly on a stable surface
Tap the lid around the edge with a spoon
Run the lid under warm water for 20 to 30 seconds
Dry the jar and lid well
Grip the lid with a rubber glove, towel, or jar opener
Twist the lid counterclockwise
If needed, gently pry up the edge of the lid to release the seal
Ask someone else to help if it is still stuck
