Turn on the PS3 console
Connect the PS3 controller to the console using a USB cable
Press the PS button on the controller
Wait for the controller light to stop flashing and stay solid
Unplug the USB cable
Press the PS button again to confirm wireless connection
To pair with another PS3, repeat the same steps with that console
To pair with a PC, connect the controller by USB first, then use compatible software if needed
