Gather boudin sausages, water, and a pot
Place the boudin in the pot
Add enough water to cover the sausages
Heat over medium until the water is hot, not boiling hard
Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes
Remove the boudin from the water
Let it rest for a few minutes
Serve hot
