Scrape off excess slime with a dull knife or spoon
Freeze the area with ice in a plastic bag for a few minutes if the slime is soft
Blot the stain with a clean white cloth
Mix a small amount of dish soap with cool water
Dab the stain with the soapy solution
Blot with a clean damp cloth to remove residue
Repeat until the slime is gone
For stubborn residue, use white vinegar on a cloth and dab gently
Blot again with a damp cloth
Dry the area with a clean towel
Let the couch air dry completely
Vacuum the fabric if needed after it dries
