Notice reduced energy, weakness, or lethargy

Check for panting or rapid breathing
Feel for a dry nose or thick saliva
Monitor for loss of skin elasticity
Seek veterinary care if the cat is vomiting, has diarrhea, or cannot keep water down
Seek urgent veterinary care if the cat is very weak, collapsed, or not drinking at all
