Open the app store on your device
Go to Settings
Find Automatic Updates or Auto-Update Apps
Turn the setting off
On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > App Store > Automatic Downloads and turn off App Updates
On Android, open Google Play Store > tap your profile icon > Settings > Network preferences > Auto-update apps > Don’t auto-update apps
On Windows, open Microsoft Store > Profile icon > App settings > turn off App updates
On Mac, open App Store > Settings or Preferences > turn off Automatic Updates
Check each app’s own settings if it has a separate update option
