Unlock the bootloader on the AYN Odin Pro
Install the Android platform-tools on your computer
Download the Odin Pro factory firmware or current boot image for your exact software version
Extract the boot image from the firmware package
Install the latest Magisk app on the Odin Pro
Copy the extracted boot image to the Odin Pro
Open Magisk and patch the boot image
Transfer the patched boot image back to your computer
Reboot the Odin Pro into fastboot mode
Connect the Odin Pro to the computer with a USB cable
Verify the device is detected by fastboot
Flash the patched boot image to the boot partition
Reboot the device
Open Magisk to confirm root access
If needed, use Magisk to hide root from apps that detect it
Keep a copy of the original boot image for recovery
Reflash stock firmware if the device bootloops or fails to start
