Check the microwave control panel for a Sound, Beep, Mute, or Volume button
Press and hold the Sound, Beep, or Mute button for 3 to 5 seconds
Try pressing the Stop, Cancel, or Off button for a few seconds
Look in the user manual for a silent mode or beep-off setting
Enter the settings menu if your microwave has one and disable the sound
Unplug the microwave for a minute, then plug it back in and check whether a sound setting reset is available
