Check in at the front desk or use the Planet Fitness app/kiosk if available
Confirm that your membership includes tanning access
Ask staff for the tanning bed room assignment and any location-specific rules
Read and follow all posted tanning instructions and safety warnings
Remove makeup, lotion, perfume, deodorant, and jewelry before tanning
Wear the provided protective eyewear or your own approved goggles
Set the session time according to your skin type and the salon’s limits
Enter the tanning room and close the door before starting
Press the start button or use the control panel if required
Lie down evenly on the bed and keep the canopy closed during the session
Do not exceed the allowed time
End the session when the timer stops
Exit the room carefully and allow the bed to cool if needed
Wipe down the bed and any touched surfaces with the provided disinfectant
Wash your hands after use
Follow the required wait time before using the tanning bed again
Avoid tanning if you are taking medications or using products that increase sun sensitivity
Do not use the tanning bed if you are underage or not cleared by the gym’s policy
