Trim the stems to an even length

Gather the bouquet tightly in one hand
Hold the ribbon end against the stems near the top of the bouquet
Wrap the ribbon around the stems once to anchor it
Continue wrapping the ribbon downward in a spiral
Overlap each wrap slightly for a neat finish
Keep the ribbon snug but not too tight
Wrap until you reach the desired length
Secure the ribbon with a knot, bow, or floral tape
Trim the ribbon ends at an angle or into a V shape
Adjust the ribbon so it sits evenly around the bouquet
