Open the Instagram app or website
Go to your profile
Tap the menu icon
Select Settings and privacy
Tap Accounts Center
Tap Personal details
Tap Account ownership and control
Tap Deactivation or deletion
Select the Instagram account you want to remove
Choose Delete account
Follow the prompts to confirm
Enter your password if asked
Confirm the deletion request
Use the Instagram account deletion page if needed
Log in to the account
Select a reason for deletion
Re-enter your password
Click or tap Delete account permanently
