Open Settings
Tap Notifications
Tap the app you want to unsilence
Turn on Allow Notifications
Turn on Sounds
Turn off Scheduled Summary if needed
Check Focus mode in Settings
Tap Focus
Turn off any active Focus mode
Open Control Center
Tap the Focus icon and disable it
Check the mute switch on the side of the iPhone
Turn off Silent Mode if it is enabled
Increase the ringer and alert volume
Go to Settings
Tap Sounds & Haptics
Drag Ringer and Alerts to a higher level
Check the app’s in-app notification settings
Make sure notification banners and alerts are enabled
Restart the iPhone if notifications still stay silent
