Determine your total work hours per year
Divide the annual salary by the total work hours
Use this formula: Hourly rate = Annual salary ÷ Annual work hours
For a full-time schedule, use 40 hours per week × 52 weeks = 2,080 hours per year
Example: $52,000 ÷ 2,080 = $25 per hour
Adjust for unpaid time off, holidays, or overtime if needed
