Unplug the grinder
Remove the hopper, lid, and any detachable parts
Empty out all coffee beans and grounds
Brush out loose grounds with a dry brush or soft toothbrush
Wipe the interior and exterior with a dry microfiber cloth
Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water if the manufacturer allows it
Rinse and dry all washed parts completely
Use grinder cleaning tablets if recommended for your grinder type
Run the grinder with cleaning tablets or uncooked rice only if the manufacturer approves
Reassemble the grinder once all parts are fully dry
Plug it back in and grind a small amount of coffee beans to clear any residue
Clean the grinder regularly to prevent buildup and stale odors
