Put on gloves and ventilate the bathroom
Flush the toilet to wet the bowl
Apply toilet bowl cleaner or white vinegar to the stained areas
Let the cleaner sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Scrub the stains with a toilet brush
For tough stains, use baking soda and vinegar or a pumice stone made for toilets
Scrub under the rim and around the waterline
Flush to rinse away loosened residue
Repeat if stains remain
Clean the outside of the toilet with disinfectant wipes or cleaner
Wash hands thoroughly after cleaning
