Draw a small oval or spiral for the center of the rose.
Add a curved line around the center to form the first petal.
Draw another larger curved petal around it.
Keep adding overlapping curved petals around the center.
Make the outer petals wider and more open.
Add a few pointed petal edges for a natural look.
Draw a short stem below the flower.
Add two leaf shapes on each side of the stem.
Draw a line down the middle of each leaf.
Outline and darken the final lines.
