Gather Netherrack blocks
Build a rectangular portal frame with Netherrack
Leave the center empty
Make the frame at least 4 blocks tall and 5 blocks wide
Light the inside of the frame with fire or flint and steel if your modpack allows it
Use the portal according to the mod or server rules if Netherrack portals are not part of vanilla Minecraft
