Isolate the infested plant
Rinse the plant thoroughly with water, especially the undersides of leaves
Remove heavily infested leaves and stems
Wipe leaves with a damp cloth
Spray with insecticidal soap
Spray with neem oil
Apply horticultural oil
Repeat treatments every 5 to 7 days
Increase humidity around the plant
Keep the plant well watered
Clean nearby plants and surfaces
Check all nearby plants for mites
Use a strong stream of water outdoors
Prune and discard severely damaged growth
Avoid overusing nitrogen fertilizer
Quarantine new plants before placing them near others
Use predatory mites if needed
Continue monitoring until no signs remain
