Open the Contacts app or the Phone app and tap Contacts
Tap and hold one contact, then tap other contacts to select them
Tap Delete
Confirm Delete Contacts
If your iPhone does not support multi-select in Contacts, use iCloud on a computer
Go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID
Open Contacts
Hold Command on Mac or Control on Windows and click each contact you want to delete
Click the gear icon
Click Delete
Confirm deletion
If contacts are synced with Gmail or another account, delete them from that account’s contacts list
Open Settings
Tap Apps or Mail
Tap Contacts
Tap Accounts
Open the account and delete contacts from the source if needed
