Pat the turkey breast dry
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs
Optional: rub with butter or olive oil
Place chopped onion, garlic, or celery in the bottom of the crock pot
Add a small amount of broth or water, about 1/2 to 1 cup
Place the turkey breast on top, skin side up if applicable
Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours
Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F
Avoid lifting the lid during cooking
Remove the turkey breast and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes
Slice against the grain
Serve with the cooking juices if desired
