Turn on your new iPhone and place it near your old iPhone
Make sure both iPhones are connected to Wi-Fi and have enough battery
On the new iPhone, follow the setup prompts until you reach the Quick Start screen
On the old iPhone, tap Continue when the Quick Start prompt appears
Scan the animation on the new iPhone with the old iPhone
Enter the old iPhone passcode on the new iPhone
Set up Face ID or Touch ID on the new iPhone
Choose Transfer from iPhone or Download from iCloud when prompted
Keep both iPhones close together until the transfer is complete
Sign in to the App Store if prompted
Open the App Store on the new iPhone and download any missing apps
If needed, restore apps from an iCloud backup during setup
If you used a computer backup, connect the new iPhone and restore from that backup
Check that app data, logins, and settings transferred correctly
Update apps from the App Store if needed
