Select the folder in Finder
Press Command + I
Open the image or icon you want to use
Select the image and press Command + C
Click the small folder icon at the top left of the Info window
Press Command + V
Close the Info window
To remove the custom icon, open Get Info again, click the folder icon, and press Delete
