Use the chapter author’s name first.
Put the year of publication in parentheses after the author.
Write the chapter title in sentence case.
Add “In” followed by the editor’s initials and last name.
Include “(Ed.)” for one editor or “(Eds.)” for multiple editors.
Italicize the book title.
Include the page range of the chapter in parentheses after the book title.
End with the publisher name.
If the chapter has a DOI, add it at the end in URL format.
If the chapter was accessed online and has no DOI, include the URL if required by your instructor or source type.
