Boil water and let it cool to about 195–205°F
Grind coffee to a medium-fine consistency
Place a filter in the pour-over dripper
Rinse the filter with hot water
Discard the rinse water
Add ground coffee to the filter
Level the coffee bed
Start a timer
Pour a small amount of water over the grounds to bloom them
Wait 30–45 seconds
Pour the remaining water slowly in a circular motion
Keep the water level steady
Let the coffee drip through completely
Remove the dripper
Serve and drink immediately
