Preheat the grill to high heat
Pat the steak dry with paper towels
Season both sides with salt and pepper
Lightly oil the grill grates
Place the steak on the hottest part of the grill
Grill for 2 to 4 minutes per side for searing
Move the steak to a cooler part of the grill if needed
Cook until it reaches your desired doneness
Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature
Remove the steak from the grill
Let the steak rest for 5 to 10 minutes
Slice against the grain and serve
