Load exposed film into a developing tank in complete darkness or a changing bag
Mix developer, stop bath, fixer, and rinse aid according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Pre-wet the film if your chosen process or chemistry recommends it
Pour in developer and agitate for the recommended time and pattern
Drain the developer completely
Add stop bath or water rinse to halt development
Drain the stop bath or rinse completely
Pour in fixer and agitate for the recommended time
Drain the fixer completely
Wash the film thoroughly with running water or repeated fill-and-dump rinses
Add rinse aid if desired
Remove the film from the tank and hang it to dry in a dust-free area
Use film clips or weights to keep the film straight while drying
Let the film dry fully before cutting or scanning
Cut the dried film into strips and store it in sleeves
