Check Windows 10 version and device requirements
Confirm your PC supports TPM 2.0
Enable TPM 2.0 in BIOS/UEFI if needed
Enable Secure Boot in BIOS/UEFI if needed
Check if your device is eligible for Windows 11
Back up important files
Ensure you have enough free disk space
Update Windows 10 to the latest updates
Connect to power and keep an internet connection
Open Settings
Go to Update & Security
Select Windows Update
Select Check for updates
If available, select Download and install for Windows 11
Follow on-screen prompts to complete installation
After upgrade, sign in and finish setup
Verify activation and installed updates
Check for driver updates in Windows Update or via the device manufacturer
If the upgrade is not offered, download the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from Microsoft
Run the Installation Assistant
Accept terms and follow prompts to upgrade in place
If you want a fresh install, create Windows 11 installation media using the Media Creation Tool
Boot from the Windows 11 USB and follow prompts to install
Choose Keep personal files or select a clean install option as appropriate
