How To Dry Rosemary?

Harvest rosemary sprigs in the morning after the dew has dried

Rinse the sprigs gently if needed

Pat the sprigs completely dry

Remove damaged or discolored leaves

Tie small bundles of rosemary stems together

Hang the bundles upside down in a warm, dry, dark, well-ventilated area

Leave space between bundles for airflow

Check the rosemary every few days

Dry for 1 to 2 weeks until the leaves are brittle

Strip the dried leaves from the stems

Store the dried rosemary in an airtight container

Keep the container in a cool, dark place

Use a dehydrator at low temperature for faster drying

Use an oven on the lowest setting with the door slightly open if needed
