Open QuickTime Player
Click File in the menu bar
Select New Movie Recording
Choose your camera and microphone if needed
Click the red Record button
Record your video
Click the Stop button when finished
Go to File
Select Save
Choose a name and location
Click Save
Open Photo Booth if you want a simpler option
Click the red camera button to take a video
Use the built-in Camera app if available on your Mac
Use third-party apps like OBS Studio, Zoom, or ScreenFlow for advanced recording
Use Shift-Command-5 to record your screen if you want a screen video
Select Record Entire Screen or Record Selected Portion
Click Record to start
Click the Stop button in the menu bar to finish
Save the recording when prompted
