Open McAfee
Go to Settings
Turn off notifications and alerts
Disable promotional pop-ups
Open Windows Settings
Go to Apps
Find McAfee
Uninstall McAfee if you do not want it
Restart your computer
Open Task Manager
Disable McAfee startup items
Open your browser settings
Remove McAfee browser extensions
Reset browser notifications
Run McAfee removal tool if needed
Keep Windows Security enabled if McAfee is removed
