Vacuum the dry area to remove loose residue
Blot the spot with a slightly damp cloth
Mix equal parts white vinegar and water
Lightly spray or dab the solution onto the stain
Blot again with a clean dry towel
Sprinkle baking soda over the area
Let the baking soda sit until fully dry
Vacuum up the baking soda
Repeat if needed
Use an enzyme cleaner if odor remains
Allow the mattress to air dry completely
Place the mattress in sunlight if possible
Use a fan to speed up drying
