Blot up any fresh urine with paper towels or a clean cloth
Rinse the stained area with cold water
Soak the clothing in cold water mixed with an enzyme laundry cleaner
Wash the garment with a heavy-duty detergent
Add white vinegar to the wash if the fabric allows it
Use baking soda in the wash or as a pre-soak for odor removal
Avoid using hot water until the smell is gone
Air-dry the clothing and check for odor before using a dryer
Repeat the wash if any urine smell remains
