Preheat the oven to 350°F
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Pour 1 box of cake mix into a mixing bowl
Add 2 eggs
Add 1/2 cup of oil or melted butter
Mix until a thick dough forms
Fold in chocolate chips, sprinkles, or nuts if desired
Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls
Place the dough balls on the baking sheet with space between them
Flatten slightly if desired
Bake for 9 to 12 minutes
Remove from the oven when the edges are set
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely
