1 cup washing soda
1 cup borax
1 bar soap, grated
Mix all ingredients thoroughly
Store in an airtight container
Use 1 to 2 tablespoons per load
Add directly to the washer drum or detergent compartment
For extra stain removal, pre-treat stains with a soap paste
For liquid detergent, dissolve the dry mix in hot water and stir until combined
Shake or stir before each use if making liquid detergent
Keep away from children and pets
Test on a small load first
