Use a flexible, non-stretch measuring tape
Place the tape above the eyebrows and ears
Wrap the tape around the widest part of the head
Keep the tape level all the way around
Make sure the tape is snug but not tight
Read the measurement where the tape meets
Measure in centimeters or inches
Repeat the measurement to confirm accuracy
