Shuffle the dominoes face down
Draw the starting number of tiles for each player
Keep the remaining tiles as the boneyard
Decide who goes first
Place the first tile on the table
Take turns matching one end of a tile to an open end with the same number of pips
If you cannot play, draw a tile from the boneyard if allowed
If you still cannot play, pass your turn
Continue playing until one player uses all their tiles or no one can move
Count the pips left in each player’s hand if the game ends by blocking
Score the round according to the game’s rules
Repeat rounds until the target score is reached or all rounds are finished
