Check whether call recording is legal in your location
Use the built-in call recording feature if your iPhone and region support it
Open the Phone app and start the call
Tap the Record button during the call if available
Wait for the recording announcement to finish
Stop the recording when the call ends or tap Stop if available
Find the saved recording in the Notes app or the app used by the feature
Use a third-party call recording app if built-in recording is unavailable
Follow the app’s instructions to connect the call through its recording line or service
Use a conference call method with a recording service if required
Record the call on another device using speakerphone if permitted by law
Save and back up the recording immediately after the call
Inform the other party before recording if required by law
