Go to iforgot.apple.com
Enter your Apple ID email address
Follow the on-screen steps to verify your identity
Use trusted phone number or trusted device if prompted
Reset your password after verification
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name
Tap Sign-In & Security
Tap Change Password
Enter your device passcode
Create a new Apple ID password
On Mac, open System Settings
Click your name
Click Sign-In & Security
Click Change Password
Enter your Mac password
Create a new Apple ID password
If you cannot verify your identity, start account recovery at iforgot.apple.com
Check your email for Apple password reset messages
