Create or choose a design
Print the design onto a transparent film
Coat the screen with light-sensitive emulsion
Let the emulsion dry in a dark area
Place the film on the screen
Expose the screen to light
Wash out the unexposed emulsion
Let the screen dry completely
Set up the screen on a printing press or frame
Place the material to be printed on a flat surface
Put ink on the screen
Use a squeegee to pull ink across the screen
Lift the screen and check the print
Repeat for additional prints
Cure or dry the printed item
