Gather dashi stock, miso paste, tofu, wakame, and green onions
Heat the dashi stock in a pot until hot, but do not boil
Add wakame and tofu to the pot
Turn off the heat
Place miso paste in a small bowl or ladle
Dissolve the miso paste with a little hot broth
Stir the dissolved miso back into the pot
Add sliced green onions
Serve immediately
