Soak the area in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes
Gently rub or roll the glue off with your fingers or a soft cloth
Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly or vegetable oil and rub gently for 1–2 minutes
Repeat soaking and gentle rubbing until the bond loosens
Use a cotton pad with acetone-based nail polish remover on the glue only (avoid eyes and open cuts)
Let acetone sit briefly, then gently rub the loosened glue away
Wash the skin with soap and water after acetone use
If glue is on fingertips, soak in acetone or nail polish remover for short intervals, then peel or roll off gently
Try a commercial adhesive remover labeled for skin-safe use, following the label directions
Stop and seek medical help if skin is irritated, blistered, or stuck tightly
Do not forcefully pull skin apart
Avoid using sharp objects to scrape the glue off
Avoid acetone on large areas, near eyes, or on broken skin
If glue gets in the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and get urgent medical care
