Clean the charging port carefully with a dry, soft brush
Remove case and clean it separately
Avoid bleach, aerosol sprays, and abrasive materials
Avoid compressed air
Avoid submerging the iPhone in liquid
Let the iPhone dry completely before turning it on or reconnecting accessories
