Mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and seasonings in a bowl
Shape the mixture into evenly sized balls
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat or preheat the oven to 400°F
Place the meatballs in the skillet or on a baking sheet
Cook until browned on the outside
Turn or shake them halfway through cooking
Continue cooking until the center reaches 165°F for poultry or 160°F for beef or pork
Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes
Serve with sauce, pasta, rice, or bread
