Draw a small teardrop or pointed oval for the inner flame

Make the flame tips uneven and varied in height
Layer additional flame shapes behind the main flame for depth
Add a few smaller flames at the base
Draw a simple log, candle, or campfire base underneath if desired
Outline the flame with smooth, flowing lines
Erase any rough sketch lines
Color the inner flame yellow or white
Color the middle flame orange
Color the outer flame red or dark orange
