Pat salmon dry with paper towels
Season with salt and pepper
Optional: add garlic powder, paprika, or Italian seasoning
Optional: brush with olive oil or melted butter
Place salmon skin-side down in the basket (leave space between pieces)
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 7–10 minutes for fillets (time depends on thickness)
Check doneness at the thickest part
Cook until salmon flakes easily with a fork or reaches 125–130°F (52–54°C) for medium or 130–140°F (54–60°C) for more done
Optional: for a crispier top, air fry 1–2 minutes longer
Rest 1–2 minutes before serving
Optional: brush with lemon juice and serve
